When the Hall of Mammals was renovated, the Smithsonian restored the original architecture of the Hall as well as eliminating the habitat diorama style of display. Instead the Hall tells the story of mammals and our similarities. This serves as a preview of what the Ocean Hall and eventually the Dinosaur Hall will look like.
