Whitehall & Westminster
Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and the Clock Tower - this area is filled with history. Dad and I were able to tour the Parliament Building (no photos allowed) - and it's amazing how much smaller it seems in person than it looks on CSpan. Funny story - the tour group is in the House of Lords and told we're not allowed to sit (we mere commoners - or worse, Colonials) but then the guide disappears for a minute and comes back with a chair the guards use for Dad. He may be one of the few American's to actually sit in the House of Lords.
