Southwark & Bankside
This area of London is most famous for it's connection to William Shakespeare. The newly rebuilt Globe Theatre is here, as well as the Southwark Cathedral, the church Shakespeare attended. Other sites of note are the bizarre City Hall and the Millennium Bridge, connecting the Tate Modern to St Paul's Cathedral across the Thames.
