University of Chicago
One of the greatest universities in America, they are most well known as the home of the "Manhattan Project." The lab where the first nuclear bomb was developed was located under the football stadium, and though the football field is long gone (Chicago eliminated their sports programs), there is a plaza with a statue and plaque commemorating the events that took place here.
