Ah, yes, I can see why you would think of them, Sonja. The goose's plumage always reminded me of a stained glass window.

Some butterflies look like stained glas windows, but geese and ducks are kind of to opaque and threedimensional I think.... Red-breasted Geese, Smew, Woodducks and Harlequins where born as abstraction teachers to early man still living in nature just like Monarchs or Black-vained Whites, but they do the advanced classes. :o)
