Lavandula stoechas in the wild and not as yard ornament I assume? I like this exotic and showy lavender!

Looks similar to Provencal Lavender but DNA profiling has shown it to be a different variety. It is found only in Central and South West Spain and Portugal. The top two 'leaves' are in fact modified petals.
