Temple Church
The English headquarters of the Knights Templar. The church played a prominent role in Dan Brown's "DaVinci Code," but it's worth a visit for the history within. Built in the 12th Century, it is a remarkable space with effigy tombs in the floor and grotesques decorating the interior.
