Salisbury Cathedral
While in the neighborhood visiting Stonehenge, we also dropped by here. This cathedral is breathtaking. Outside you can see a disc made of billion year old Onyx, while inside you can visit graves stretching back to the 13th Century, amongst the most interesting being one of Henry V's advisers and Sir Edward Heath, Prime Minister of Great Britain. This cathedral is the inspiration for the Ken Follett book, "Pillars of the Earth."
