Pretty plumage and fuzzy feet =) Wonder what breed they are? Look to be quite big!

I have no idea of the breed(s). Yes, they whre very big and most of them this sometimes unverted streaked mix of black and white, but a few where rusty brown and somewhat smaler.

We just walked by the fence of their owner down a designated public footpath that leads down into the valley bottom with a wet meadow and then on to cross the village bypass. I liked the bicoloured hens flocked so closely around the beautiful rooster I could exclude for once all farm pen unsightlyness like garish coloured plastic items and to much barren ground just by using the zoom range to fit.

It was of course not nice of the hen closest to the fence to show me the back of her head, but then as everyone who knows my last batch of family shots should realize, I cant even get human cousins all in a row to look into the same direction. LOL
