It's strange how the law of energy compensation works: my bro' Candi has always enjoyed football (soccer). He can wake up at four am o'clock to watch a semifinals match... All his life he has been playing as goalkeeper in one team or other, sometimes in high competitive leagues. But a few years ago he stopped it: probably in part because it was too much sacrifice for so little recompense but mainly because the life becomes more complicated as time goes by. Two weeks ago he explained me he was tired of playing amateur games with people that doesn't take it seriously, wining the game without a real effort. In fact, he was angry for wining so easily.
Now he's back, training until midnight and playing all the weekends. And of course, the compensation law still works: I hate football. But I love to watch my brother playing. |
