You have made good use of the tonal range! What was the original like? Seagull with light from left/top and dark cloud in the background? Or did you isolate the bird and painted the back black?

I have added the tag "mtg-monochrome" so that you are in the challenge. If you don't want to be, remove it.

This is a really nice shot of a bird in flight and the monochrome really makes it shine.

That's stunning. It has a surreal feeling about it: a bird in emptiness.

The original was bird against a clear blue sky, I just
isolated the bird and filled the background with black.
