I don't like your crop, I think it's too drastic. This works.

I think the negative space works pretty well, but the white (top
right) could maybe be cropped. Possibly this means some of
the nice purple tree light too, although rotating the picture
(to straighten it) may help with this.

It's a nice juxtaposition for me, because here the window
should only show snow, so I kind of like that it's different
from what I would expect.

mramshaw, remember this was an exercise to compose in one shot unaltered, I thought I had the right windows nicely as a border, obviously I misjudged my edge of the photo. I too like this one better than the crop but I showed the crop because a crop was suggested. Thank You for your comments
