Episode 027: Sketching
I wanted to make a sketch of my L001 but the result is not what i wanted to be(the line around the fish is not clear enough and the dots on the fish are not closed). I think the problem is caused by the starting image(bad colors, not enough contrast) can someone give me some clues to get my sketch better? |

I can give you the following idea:
Cut out the fish, convert it to B&W, edge detect it, then use potrace on it. Use the full image resolution, if the original image is not large enough, make it double in size.

Most sorts are really rare.
The potrace tool makes me think about streamline. I'll try that on the fish(if i mange to install it).
