Post war Warszawa
Taken by Mogens Ørsnes on the 1st of November, 1948. That's my dad on the photo, on an archeological field trip to Poland. According to my dad, they were in the process of building the metro hence the railtracks in the street for transporting building materials. Unfortunately I have no clue as to where in the city it is taken, and the only landmark noticeable is the leftovers of what could be a small tower of some sorts (the note). Anybody know where this could've been taken? |
