Yes, I'm quite pleased with how this camera performed. It was a great deal, for five bucks at the Salvation Army! :o)

Thanks, Marvin.

Yes, there are some great deals out there to be found on old film cameras. The thing about film is that not many people know what to do with them these days. Even when I brought the film in to the drug store, to send off for processing, the clerk didn't even know they offered the service. I had to tell her where they stored the envelopes and how to fill in the paperwork. :o)

Nice shot!
LOL -- when I lived overseas the drugstores still had their ISO100 storebrand films. Guess time went on there too... Here they got self service booths now for people creating custom prints and own pic merchanise, looking a lot like a computer game terminal at an arcade. I only see that wall with booths when buying detergents or somesuch and give it a wide space.

Thank you, Sonja!

Yes, in the major stores around here, they have those digital processing kiosks, too. You can even e-mail in your photos and have them waiting for your to pick up later. But, film processing services have all vanished. There's only the one place I know of that will do it, and you have to wait two to three weeks, as they send the film away for processing.

Interesting comments. Here in Spain everything is at least 10 years behind the times and you still find photography shops and they will all print your film. They make ends meet by offering print shop facilities as well. But in Spain, they like to deal with people. On line shopping never really took hold. For example, every high street still has at least two independent travel agents. In England they were replaced almost 100% by their on line competitors at least a dozen or so years ago. Spaniards need a person to argue / shout at or with when dealing with such things!

Well, Andy, I think you're pretty lucky to still have such services at your disposal. Here in Canada/North America, they just seem to be so eager to throw away perfectly good technology for the latest gadget or trend. And interactions with real people is becoming a thing of the past, as well. It's all going to mobile apps and touch screen interfaces. It started with bank machines and self serve fueling stations. Now you have self checkouts at the grocery and department stores, and I've even seen self serve touch screens to order your food at McDonalds. It' really sad to see, if you ask me.
