Thanks so much, but nothing compared to your beautiful woodland photos. I've been looking through them and they're all so lovely. I wanted to comment on several of them, but the reCaptcha thing really doesn't play nice with my web browser.

Thank you, David.... The reCaptcha mess is not an issue for anyone with a paid acct..... The owners have been implored to do something about the things not working for going on 2yrs now with no success. They don't seem to care.... Which, on the hand, I can understand, but, on the other, it effects even their paying customers like myself, which isn't quite right... Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed my photos, too =) Autumn is my absolute fav. season =) I couldn't be happy living in a location without a true autumn ;)

That's a real shame... about 23HQ that is. I really like the simplicity of the platform, but it's a shame the admin team just don't seem interested in the maintenance side too much. I mean, I don't need all of the fancy overhead found on other social photo sharing sites. But fixing a thing like the Captcha so we could all post comments would be nice.

You know, autumn is also my favorite time of year. The sad thing is, we didn't get an autumn this year. We went from a hot dry summer, to a cold snow drift fill winter in just a couple of weeks. All the leaves didn't even have a chance to fall of the trees before the wind and snow arrived.

We've had years like that, too.... Weird, wild weather.... Trees blooming in December/January.... No autumn at all -- everything just up and froze 'cause summer just wouldn't go away. This year's been a roller coaster.... Autumn was about 2wks behind schedule... Winter has been wild swings from Spring like temps./conditions to arctic cold, neither staying around for more than a week.... It's nuts.... lol =)

Yeah, the lack of effort to fix reCaptcha is disappointing.... But, when weighed in the balance, it could be worse... Only costs $20 a year for unlimited use on the site.... It's not like them sites that cost over $50 and have so many issues and are so bloated with useless code that they're so frustrating to use that I couldn't get people with older computers to even try to navigate the site.... I suppose, in a sense, the old "you get what you pay for" adage holds true on this site... lol ... ;) But, I prefer the simplicity factor as well... .I don't want to deal with a photo site that is overloaded with crap and functions like another Facebook.... The ability to customize everything using CSS is unparalleled and much easier on bandwidth than the overly bloated code that runs the eye candy junk on sites like Flickr --- in a very limited capacity; you can't customize everything on that site thought you may pay thru the nose to have unlimited storage. So, I just put up with the shortcomings here ;)
