How sad to see the fac tory being demolished. I am a direct descent of W G Goetz. I am the grandaughter of his son William Paul Goetz. My father was Stephen Richard Goetz.

As grandson of Otto Goetz, another of the 'sons' of W.G. Goetz, I am also saddened to see the demolition of the factory. Thanks for the photos. I can't recall seeing the site in the Spotswood movie... maybe I'll hire the DVD and check.

What happened to WG Goetz & Sons in Spotswood? My father Bill William Douglas worked there as an Engineer/Welder for the majority of his working life, now deceased.

I work in the brewery of Two Birds in the former Goetz building, Two Birds still has old Goetz machinery posters on the wall of the tasting room, as a homage to the history of the building and what was once there.

Nike Basketball Officially Debuts Kevin Durant’s KD 13 Signature Sneaker,The long wait is over, Nike Basketball has officially debuted Kevin Durant’s latest signature sneaker, the Nike KD 13, set to release in six different colorway options.Marking Durant’s 13th signature silhouette with the Swoosh, the updated models will be dressed in a “Black/White,” “Planet of Hoops,” “Hype,” “Chill,” “Home Team,” and “Bred” makeup. Each of the aforementioned colorways will boast a double-stacked Air Zoom setup and a full-length Air Zoom cushioning unit.“The intent behind a Zoom Bag is similar to that of a mechanical spring underfoot,” says Ross Klein, Senior Creative Director for Nike Basketball in an official press release. “The essence of a spring is to return the amount of energy you put into it. In the KD13, we’re doubling the spring in the form of the double-stacked forefoot Zoom, allowing you more travel in the system and more energy back.”The KD 13 will begin rolling out on April 6 with the global release of the “Black/White” and “Planet of Hoops” colorways, the latter will release in China exclusively. The “Hype” style releases April 10 in North America, followed by the “Black/White” North American release on April 17. “Chill” will release in North America on April 24, while the “Home Team” edition will release on May 1 followed by the “Bred” colorway on June 1. Each pair will retail for $88.
Another Look at Kyrie Irving Wearing His Next Signature Sneaker,With already word that a Concepts x Nike Kyrie 6 collaboration is potentially in the works, fans will now have a glimpse of what Kyrie Irving's sixth signature sneaker with Nike may look like. Thanks to Solebyjc on Instagram, the Kyrie 6 is executed in a traditional black-based color scheme featuring a split design on the upper with a textile mesh at the forefoot with leather at the heel. A midfoot strap returns onto Irving's latest sneaker, which has not been featured since the Kyrie 2. Like its predecessor, the Irving's latest performance shoe will include Zoom Air cushioning in the midsole.The Nike Kyrie 6 is expected to debut ahead of the upcoming 2019-20 NBA season, but official release information as yet to be announced by Nike.
