Very nice. My grandmother was born in Harvey Station in York County New Brunswick. In her older years she lived in Michigan and she took me to pick blueberries a couple of times over there. She passed away in 1977 but I can't help but think of her every single time I see blueberries, especially when they are still on the bush. Thanks for reviving my memory once again. :-) - Kevin

No problem. I like picking them too as it reminds me of my childhood. (wow, I sound old now. ;) )
I went raspberry picking 2 days ago and felt like 8 again as my grandparents had some bushes and we were not always allowed to ick them. It was so great, and the guy selling the u-pick raspberries told me that I was the fastest so far.
Yes you really have to know where to look for berries. Blueberries like sun and some shade on sour soils... raspberries are hidded under the leafes.

Foraging is an art (luckily) unknown to many people. I really need to go out and look for blueberries, but this years bounty seems to be rather meager - at least in my part of the world.
