Jokaisella Turkin alueella on oma tapansa kutoa aitoja Kilim-mattoja, joiden värit ja kuviot ovat tuhansia vuosia vanhoja. Tyynyt kudotaan käsin, ja niiden koko vaihtelee välillä 20 x 20 cm ja 75 x 75 cm.
