The beach on the sandbar right off Fuseta (Fuzeta) stretches for miles and miles, the sand is clean and in the Autumn months the temperature is agreeable (20's). Fuseta is an old fishing village is the Algarve that somehow has escaped the invasion of mass tourism. That does not say that it sees no tourists, it does. It is just not a hip place to be, however if you have a taste for the simple and good, this is a place to try. This beach on the sandbar is only accessible by boat.
