Shilshole Avenueshilshole avenue is a wonderful place. industrial, but wonderful. though it is mostly industrial marinas, warehouses, marine repair shops and storage, it contains many hidden gems.  a building clad in metallic paint, like tin man's face.
 a paradoxically named "magnum mini storage".
 a post office box for "bridge mice".
if you look closely, this industrial area has as much character as some of seattle's quirkiest neighbourhoods and is definitely worth exploring.
