I'm a traditionalist when it comes to the desktop -- although Jean-Pierre (http://www.23hq.com/jpa/photo/1971790) makes me think I should change the background.

A few odd notes:
- I'm listening to Harry Potter again
- Emacs (combined with SSH Agent) is the best text editor you'll ever find.
- Writeroom and Mori Notebook are very nice applications
