As the firm you're applying to is not looking to fill the position out of the goodness of its heart, that's why. When the pain of not hiring transcends the pain of needing to pay for and train a new worker a firm just hires. To put it differently, a business only hires when doing so will solve at least one of its troubles.

Informed interviewers will craft their questions to best discover how a nominee can address the problems the company wants to solve. But interviewers who are not skilled at actively eliciting this information understand intuitively what they are looking for. They know the newest hire probably for the interviewer individually, and must alleviate one or more pain points for the company normally.
Do a race on prospective company. It is essential that you research your options before you face the interview panel; look its LinkedIn profile up, learn about the present employees, services and the products of its particular marketplace performance, and the company. Make notes when you face the interviewer and use these. The more knowledge you reveal in regards to the company the greater impression you make.
