Rachel O'Meara
http://imdb.com/name/nm1528245/ In the run up to The Academy Awards, Los Angeles based British actress and producer, Rachel O’Meara, shared her predictions for which BAFTA Winners would also be taking home an Oscar. “For Best Actress, although I think Cate Blanchett is superb beyond words in Blue Jasmine, she is still up against three previous Oscar Winners with Dame Judi Dench, Meryl Street and Sandra Bullock, and the fifth Nominee is Amy Adams, who’s been Oscar Nominated five times. It could not be tougher. My feeling is that Dame Judi will be making the speech. As for Best Actor, I can never tire of watching BAFTA Winner Chiwetel Ejiofor , who personifies the brilliance of Twelve Years A Slave. Yet I feel another cart being upset in this category, and Tom Hanks sweeping in to make a speech for his role in Captain Phillips. |
