that's a canon G6, isn't it?

Isn't that the bridge on which the movie separate sisters climax took place?

Jens, you are right! :)

I love the photo, Rolf - and I enjoy to see a photo with my camera! :) Great!! (A favorite it is!)

I would love to see your image of that moment - meta photography.

I am so glad that I took this second shot with full open aperture. 1.8 has a so much better Bokeh than 2.8 with the aperture blades making polygons out of the dots.

But not bad for a 40€ second hand lens, isn't it?

(Sigma 28mm/1.8 without internal motor for the focus)

Forgive my English please.
Awesome photo. Photo of a camera taking a photo. Cool.
I would like to see more examples in f-spot. It seems to be a very good program. I use kde and never had need for photo manager programs but it seems it can really safe time and work. I once tested digikam but it overtake me, it is to complicated or I am to stupid. So I will try maybe f-spot and check if I can work with this.

How you make the unsharp back with so nice drops? What is the trick?
Rolf Steinort December 14, 2009, 08:23 PM
1/f=1.8

The trick is a wide open aperture and a short distance to the subject. Shallow DOF, large circles of confusion.

Is there a photo of you making this photo?
Rolf Steinort December 18, 2009, 08:36 PM
No, we had only two cameras.... :-)
