First Impressions are the Lasting Impressions

One of the many lessons Tej Kohli learnt from his father, a highly respected journalist and economist, was that first impressions are the ones that last. A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Tej Kohli always dressed for the job he wanted, not the job he had - today, his business empire spans the globe. You only get one opportunity to make a first impression, so it has to be right. Scuffed shoes, frayed collars or cuffs, shiny material on suits through wear all demonstrate a lack of care and attention which almost certainly will be reflected in the quality of an individual’s work ethic.
