This Hakka restaurant was in what seemed to be intended as a cave. It was less cave-like inside, with a lighted floor and umbrellas for lights. It did have some older-looking pictures and tea pots and clothing on the walls, though.

This bird at Taichung park was very patient with us while we rowed our boat...

This bird at Taichung park was very patient with us while we rowed our boat to within a couple metres and took this picture with flash. It seemed to be hunting off the rope around a fountain.

This plaque explains the giant goat I saw in Taichung Park last summer (
