The crippling sanctions imposed on Iran are causing great hardship to the poor of the country. The sanctions are designed to create dissatisfaction and heighten stress levels in order to destabalise and weaken the country from within, ready for an attack at a time, yet to be defined.
Syria is being taken out right now so that the country is controlled and the ground made secure for military forces to operate from within Syria against Iran.
Protesters and anti-war groups must now prepare to counteract a major political and media campaign based on propaganda, mis-information, bias and lies that will be made against Iran and the Iranian people.
We must be ready to counteract the false claims and accusations that will be made by people in a position of authority and power.
We must not repeat the mistakes made in the past by simply protesting, going on marches and rallies. We know that we have to do more than that! Put simply, the governments of the world get away with doing what they do because there is nothing to STOP them!
Speak out NOW!!
Prepare to do all that matters in order to prevent another war! The outcome of launching a war of aggression against such a powerful country as Iran would have catastrophic consequences for the whole world. Peace can only be made through peace. We must therefore be strong and determined in our stand for peace, and above all the peace movement must stand UNITED in our aim to be effective and powerful in our own right, on our own terms.

Wanted - Bush & Blair for War Crimes

The Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal found the former heads of state guilty after a four-day hearing. A seven-member panel chaired by former Malaysian Federal Court judge Abdul Kadir Sulaiman presided over the trial.
The five panel tribunal unanimously decided that the former US and British leaders had committed crimes against peace and humanity, and also violated international law when they ordered the invasion of Iraq in March 2003.
The prosecutors at the hearing ruled that the invasion of Iraq was a flagrant abuse of law, and act of aggression which amounted to a mass murder of the Iraqi people.
“Bush and Blair are found guilty under the same law that applied to the Nazis after the end of the World War II. So, they are international (war) criminals guilty of Nuremberg crimes against peace; and they should be prosecuted by any state in the world that gets a hold of them. We will continue our efforts to bring Bush and Blair to justice and put them in jail,” Francis Boyle, an international law expert and prosecutor, told Press TV.
The judges in the verdict said that that the United States, under the leadership of Bush, forged documents to claim that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.
Bush and Blair were tried in absentia by the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal at the end of the hearing. The participants also demanded that the findings of the tribunal be made available to members of the Rome Statute and that the names of the two former officials be entered in the register of war criminals.
“There is also a recommendation that this (the findings) be circulated to the states because all states have universal jurisdiction. Therefore, whenever Bush or Blair appear within their shores there is an obligation on the international law to commit these international war criminals through the justice system,” Gurdial Singh Nijar, a prosecutor, told Press TV.
Lawyers and human rights activists in Malaysia have described the verdict issued by the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal against Bush and Blair as “a landmark decision.”
They say that they would lobby the International Criminal Court to charge the pair for war crimes.
The Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal is scheduled to hold a separate hearing next year on charges of torture linked to the Iraq war against former US officials including ex-Vice President Dick Cheney, former Secretary of State Donald Rumsfeld and ex-Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.

Shahid Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan

A terrorist car bomb explosion around a square in northern Tehran killed yet another Iranian nuclear scientist. The victim, identified as Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, was a chemical engineering graduate of Iran’s prominent Sharif University of Technology and served as commercial deputy of Natanz nuclear installation. Witnesses say they spotted a motorcyclist attaching a sticky bomb to Ahmadi Roshan’s car near a college of Allameh Tabatabaei University in Tehran on Wednesday morning, Presstv reported.
Ahmadi Roshan was killed instantly and his colleague, identified as Reza Qashqaei, and a bystander, who had sustained injuries, were transferred to Resalat Hospital.
Qashqaei passed away on Wednesday due to the severity of his wounds. An investigation is underway over the incident.
Wednesday’s terror bombing bears the hallmark of a 2010 terror attack that killed Majid Shahriari, another university professor, in Tehran.
On November 29, 2010, unidentified terrorists slapped sticky bombs onto the vehicles of Iranian university professors Majid Shahriari and Fereydoun Abbasi and detonated them.
Prof. Shahriari was killed immediately, but Dr. Abbasi, the current director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, and his wife sustained minor injuries and were rushed to a hospital.
On December 2, 2010, the Iranian Intelligence Ministry announced that the Israeli Mossad, the American CIA and the British MI6 all played a role in those attacks

Sharia law is the moral code and religious law of Islam. Sharia is derived from two primary sources of Islamic law: the precepts set forth in the Quran, and the example set by the Islamic prophet Muhammad in the Sunnah. Fiqh jurisprudence interprets and extends the application of sharia to questions not directly addressed in the primary sources by including secondary sources. These secondary sources usually include the consensus of the religious scholars embodied in ijma, and analogy from the Quran and Sunnah through qiyas. Shia jurists prefer to apply reasoning ('aql) rather than analogy in order to address difficult questions.
Muslims believe sharia is God's law, but they differ as to what exactly it entails. Modernists, traditionalists and fundamentalists all hold different views of sharia, as do adherents to different schools of Islamic thought and scholarship. Different countries, societies and cultures have varying interpretations of sharia as well.
Sharia deals with many topics addressed by secular law, including crime, politics and economics, as well as personal matters such as sexual intercourse, hygiene, diet, prayer, and fasting. Where it has official status, sharia is applied by Islamic judges, or qadis. The imam has varying responsibilities depending on the interpretation of sharia; while the term is commonly used to refer to the leader of communal prayers, the imam may also be a scholar, religious leader, or political leader.
