800th Anniversary of the Birth of Rumi organized at UNESCO on 6 September 2007
A day of commemoration is organized at UNESCO on 6 September 2007 to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the birth of Mawlana Jalal-ud-Din Balkhi-Rumi, one of the greatest poets, philosophers and scholars of the Islamic civilization.
An enlightening film, "Peaceful Warrior" starring Nick Nolte and Amy Smart. It is Based on "Way of the Peaceful Warrior" a bestseller book by Dan Millman.
