Our gamedrive vehicle. This monster just plowed straight through trees and bushes. The ranger next to the jeep was incredible. He found the big 5 (lion, buffalo, rhino, elephant and leopard) in less than 3 hours by looking for tracks, broken trees and listening for sounds.

My big 5 no.3: Lions. So close. I'm usually not the type of girl who's at a loss for words, but my travel companion and friend said she'd never experienced me as timid as when these three beautiful lionesses were less than 15 ft away
