Into the sun...

A dashboard to interface with FlightGear, a free, open-source flight simulator.
The front panel is still only a cardboard mockup, yet the instruments, lights and switches are already working, they display correct values from — and trigger actions in — the flight sim.

Ensure propeller adjust automatic is set to manual, and the pitch is set to 11.00.
- Check.
Set cutoff lever (right of throttle lever) to open, operate primer (left of seat) 5-6 times.
- Check.
Switch ignition (left side of the panel) to M1+2.
- Check.
Open throttle a bit and pull the starter Handle (beneath Mag-Switch).
- Check.
Open ("offen") the radiator flaps (lever right beneath the panel).
- Check.

Now why oh why does the engine stop after running for a few seconds?
