Docklands again done with the Obama Hope filter after the Shepard Fairey poster of President Obama before the election. Whilst it seems easy to apply a filter, it is actually quite difficult to get a reasonable result. I have done a few of these from first principles, but the filter is easier to change the parameters. This filter is available in Gimp and Photoshop. Originally stitched with Hugin and finished with Gimp

A bit of fun. A Dinosaur model in the centre of Docklands. Usually a queue of Children that get on the platform to have their picture taken. I "overworked" this photo deliberately to bring out the exaggeration. Lomo, vignette , colour and blur adjustments to finish

This is the famous Melbourne Wheel that had structural problems after extreme heat and wind. The spokes have been taken off and only the hub and supports are standing. This should have been the answer to London's wheel.
Still, I was intrigued by the engineering and took some photos and stitched them to come up with this. Even without the spokes it is a beautiful and impressive structure. (at least to me)Edit
