Several photos for a clone shot which I made April last year, which I've only just got round to completing. Just reuploaded, removing some cases of one-footedness!

This was when I was first experimenting with panorama shots, so there's distortion in the picture. More clone shots to come.

Here's looking at you, Shirls

While experimenting with the Raw feature on the camera, here I'm (coincidentally) looking towards Shirley Manson with a contemplative expression.

I'm still a big fan of Garbage, even today when the members are doing other things. Cropped the photo as my bedroom is overflowing with stuff. Had I known this photo would appear, I would have composed it differently!

Work vs Play

This is a fight between the two me's, one who wants to work and achieve things, and the other who wants to play and have a good time. The less time I have for one, the more he wants to do his own thing.

Info on "Just the four of me"
Info on "Just the four of me"

This started as a relatively straightforward shot, with only the middle clone on the settee being a potential problem.

In fact, this was one of the easier parts, compared with the work with the shadows around the feet!

Also, the clone on the chair was a different brightness compared with the base photo, along with several minor touch-ups elsewhere.

The finished result is here.

Pericoronitis
Pericoronitis

I never knew growing wisdom teeth could be so painful.

An infection has entered the gum around the tooth, and it keeps recurring. The dentist says I shouldn't have any out, as it is coming through. I just hope that's sooner than later!

18th August 2007: Just to say, that a mixture of warm-to-hot water and applied salt does wonders for the affected area.

1st June 2008: Also should point out,he doctor took an x-ray on the mouth 6 months ago, found out the tooth became hollow inside due to bacteria entering a gum flap where food entered, which was impossible to clean.

The operation in February only took 5 minutes, because it was hollow the tooth fell apart when it was extracted (not that I recommend you leave it that late to remove). The waiting was the worst bit, initially felt a bit weird around the area where the tooth was. Should have had the op sooner, save myself from rinsing every day!

Not all there
Not all there

An experiment with long shutter speeds.

I used a 30 second speed for this photo and used the flash on the low-lit room, before I sat down and posed for the camera, illuminated only by the light from the hall.

Part of my face is obscured (oops), but I think it's turned out well.
