A deranged scientist escapes from prison and seeks to get revenge against the cop who put him there. With the help of a beautiful but deadly accomplice and a powerful drug, the scientist wages war by kidnapping innocent people and creating his own personal assassins.

With the cop-killing maniacs on the loose, the police department look to Scanner Cop to throw himself into the bloody world of violence and madness. The terrifying battle between justice and vengeance is in full effect, but there can only be one survivor.

Pierre David takes his bread and butter Scanner brand he owns to a whole new height of insanity with this addition to the universe created long ago by David Cronenberg. CRIMEWAVE (1985)

Shot in between Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2, this is the very rare and often over-looked 2nd feature directed by Sam Raimi. What also makes this crazy comedy farce really interesting is that it was written with long time friends of Raimi, Joel and Ethan Coen, right after their 1st feature Blood Simple.

The film is about a pair of nutty exterminators who are hired to kill someone but make a mess of the job and have to do away with any possible witnesses. Starring Brion James (The Horror Show) as one of the exterminators along with the almighty Bruce Campbell as Renaldo ‘The Heel’.
