A blackbird started to build a nest on my balcony - right in front of one of my bathroom-windows! I'm living on the 1st floor in a 4 story building in Hamburg. It doesn't event matter when I use the hairdryer - the blackbird doesn't stop to build!

Unfortunately, papa-bird is very shy. Shortly after I took this photo, he left the nest without feeding the little ones... So I backed off.

I returned back to the balkony some hours later. The nest was empty!! The last little blackird was sitting on the edge of one of my balkony chairs.. and left minutes later. Now they are somewhere down on the ground, in hiding, waiting to be feeded there until they're really able to fly.
