Drug rehabilitation centers are designed differently in terms of the services they provide. There are residential and outpatient facilities. There are differences in these two types of drug rehab centers. It is up to the individual to determine what would work for them. With residential facilities, the patients stay on the grounds for treatment. They only leave when they are done. Outpatient facilities on the other hand provide treatment for patients while they are outside. Each type of facility has its pros and cons. Valium is more addictive than morphine and heroin and has horrible side effects. Doctors prescribe it to patients for right reasons but sometimes for wrong reasons too, which can create valium addiction. A few days back I happened to read an incident about a woman who approached the doctor about feeling a tic in eyelid. She was getting married and did not want the little tick to spoil her looks on her great day. Unfortunately, the doctor prescribed Valium for all the wrong reasons which left her housebound and disabled for years.

If you think valium addiction is a rare occurrence, you are totally wrong.In truth, valium addiction is as or more common than addiction of heroin, cocaine and morphine, because valium is a prescribed drug and not illegal like the other addictives. Though doctors prescribe it to treat a condition, users often misuse it and become addictive to it, due to the good feelings it offers. The sad thing is that people who are addicted to valium do not get the attention or help as users of other illegal drugs do.
