In a small village in northern Italy, a young man named Francesco Dellamorte works and lives in the local churchyard. When the dead start coming to life, Dellamorte takes on the duty of making sure they do not enter the land of the living. Dellamorte's only friend is Gnaghi, a small, ugly and mute man that shares the redundant and melancholy existence.

No one believes the bizarre epidemic that is going on and soon Dellamorte starts to lose his strength and desire to deal with the situation. He later gets inspired after meeting his ideal women who first appears as a widow, then as the mayor's secretary, and finally as a young prostitute.

Michele Soavi's third feature is one of the most original films in sometime. It cleverly delves into gothic romanticism but still follows the themes and structure of a classic Italian horror movie.

A concert pianist is stricken with a rare genetic disorder which rapidly ages him. His hair falls out, his teeth rot, he coughs up blood and starts suffering from uncontrollable behaviour problems that include psychotic and murderous episodes.

The mad pianist ends up killing the ladies in his life, even his girlfriend that is pregnant with the child he doesn't want to be born. Can the Police Commissioner find out who is responsible for all the deaths?

Ruggero Deodato (Cannibal Holocaust) directs this stylish horror-giallo filled with flashy sets, costumes and backdrops, and some pretty gory deaths.

Jennifer O’Neill stars as a women named Virginia who suffers from bizarre psychic episodes that have haunted her since childhood. She decides to take a look at her husband’s country house for the first time to maybe renovating it for him, only to be shocked to discover that the house is somewhat familiar to her.

While exploring the house, Virginia discovers a room that is identical to one in her visions and is compelled to take a pick axe to the wall, discovering skeletal remains behind the brickwork. With police now on the case, her husband is arrested and Virginia is met with ridicule with her stories of visions and protests of her husband’s innocence. It is now up to herself to try and unravel the mysteries behind her visions and uncover the true murderer.

This is a great giallo by Lucio Fulci and Dardano Sachetti’s great script is a very tight and intricate story that unwinds right up to the very end. Fabio Frizzi also delivers one of his most effective scores that builds tension in all the right places.

A beautiful fashion model agrees to try a new experimental hallucinogenic drug as part of a publicity stunt. While under the influence of the drug she has a vision of a woman being brutally murdered by a man using a vicious spiked glove.

It turns out that a woman was killed in the exact same way not long ago and when the model’s story is published by the newspapers, she finds herself being stalked by the killer from her hallucination.

Amazing 70’s lounge soundtrack plays throughout this gorgeously stylized giallo thriller.

This post-apocalyptic film sprang out of Italy after the success of the Mad Max films and set in the 31st century which spookily bears the same problems as today's world with the depletion of the Ozone layer and subsequent global warming. In this nightmarish future, the seas have dried up and the earth has become a parched desert, making water become an incredibly precious commodity.

One group of survivors send out a search party armed with a trusty map to find a supposed water supply and retrieve it. While on route the party is brutally murdered by vicious bandits who are roaming the wastelands pillaging and killing as they scavenge for water of their own.

A small boy and his hamster survive the slaughter and end up meeting a nomad with no morals who decides to use the kid for his knowledge of the water oasis whereabouts. The nomad can't wait to collect the water and sell it to the highest bidder, so together they battle their way through ambushes in the wasteland in search of quenching their thirst.

With his sacred mask and arsenal of weapons, the master ninja acts as judge and jury as he unleashes his reign of terror of revenge that can not be controlled.

A small expedition of explorers has penetrated deep within the labyrinth of the dense infinite Amazon forest to study the unusual tribe who still remain practicing cannibals. One of the explorers is the daughter of a general, and when she goes missing, a Special Forces command is brought in to try and find her and the other explorers.

To help them with their mission, the soldiers are accompanied by an expert guide of the territory as well as a cannibal who he captured from the tribe they seek.

Tragedy starts to overcome their mission as they find the putrified bodies of the explorers, some of which have been stripped of their flesh. They do find the general's daughter, who is living as a goddess within the tribe, and is constantly being administered hallucinogens to actively partake in their rituals.

Can they pry the young goddess away from her new home or will they all end up being dinner at the grand banquet? Bruno Mattei (Hell of the Living Dead) returns to the glory days of jungle-cannibal-sleeze-action, to direct this worthy modern entry to the neglected genre. Also known as Cannibal Ferox 3: Land of Death.
