This is a collection of three early works by Martin Scorsese and a must for the collection of any fan.

The 1st is Italianamerican (1974) which features Scorsese’s parents in their apartment. His parents are fascinating storytellers and interweave their own experiences as Italian Americans with a history of New York itself.

The 2nd is The Big Shave (1967) which he made as a metaphor for the Vietnam War and was produced as his final project in film class at N.Y.U. A man walks into a sterile bathroom then proceeds to shave until he pierces through his skin.

The 3rd film American Boy (1978) is a profile of Steven Prince. Scorsese gives the viewer an in depth view into the man's life and due to Prince's wonderful role as a story teller, the tales he tells are fascinating, some silly, and some so outlandish you have to doubt their sincerity.

Ronald Mlodzik, John Lidolt, Tania Zolty, Jack Messinger, Iain Ewing, Rafe Macpherson, Willem Poolman, and Donald Owen

The future. Millions of post-pubertal females have died from Rouge's Malady - a disease caused by cosmetics and discovered by mad dermatologist Antoine Rouge. Although Rouge has disappeared (possibly a victim of the disease), his clinic The House of Skin is managed by loyal disciple Adrian Tripod, lost without his master's guidance.

Tripod meets an old colleague at the Institute of Neo-Venereal Disease, whose body is producing mysterious, functionless new organs. With the remaining male population in psychic relapse, Tripod joins the Oceanic Podiatry Group's therapy program, but is approached by a man who leads a conspiracy of heterosexual paedophiles.

Their sole purpose is to impregnate a little girl brought prematurely to puberty to avoid Rouge's Malady. The girl is kidnapped, but no one in the group will impregnate her. Tripod is chosen but hesitates in front of her, sensing the presence of Antoine Rouge.....

Shot in between Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2, this is the very rare and often over-looked 2nd feature directed by Sam Raimi. What also makes this crazy comedy farce really interesting is that it was written with long time friends of Raimi, Joel and Ethan Coen, right after their 1st feature Blood Simple.

The film is about a pair of nutty exterminators who are hired to kill someone but make a mess of the job and have to do away with any possible witnesses. Starring Brion James (The Horror Show) as one of the exterminators along with the almighty Bruce Campbell as Renaldo ‘The Heel’.

Directed by David Lynch and James Signorelli

Starring

Harry Dean Stanton, Glenne Headly, Freddie Jones, Griffin Dunne, Deborah Unger, Mariska Hargitay, Chelsea Field, Crispin Glover and Alicia Witt

In this rare collection, David Lynch presents a trilogy of stories that take place in the curiously timeless space of room 603 at the Railroad Hotel.

"Tricks" September 1969

The 1st episode is directed by David Lynch and stars Harry Dean Stanton and Glenne Headly as two cantankerous old friends who share room 603 with a hooker-turned-cheerleader and find themselves haunted by a mysterious and dangerous past.

"Getting Rid of Robert" June 1992

The 2nd episode is directed by James Signorelli and has three uptown women gather in the hotel room to lament about men, relationships and sex with unexpectedly violent results.

"Blackout" April 1936

David Lynch book ends the trilogy by directing the last episode with the amazing Crispin Glover as a simple, midwestern husband who's brought his mentally disoriented wife to New York for treatment. Stranded in their room after a storm blacks out the city, the young couple embark on a profoundly unsettling odyssey of personal discovery.

Directed by John Carpenter

Starring

Kurt Russell, Shelley Winters, Bing Russell, Robert Gray, Season Hubley, Pat Hingle, Melody Anderson, Ed Begley Jr., James Canning, Charles Cyphers, Peter Hobbs, Les Lannom, Elliott Street, Randy Gray, and Will Jordan

This is the rare television movie that started the collaboration between master horror director John Carpenter (Escape From New York, The Thing, Big Trouble in Little China) and leading man Kurt Russell.

Russell realistically portrays Elvis from his beginnings as a 35-dollar-a-week truck driver to one of the most popular music and film stars the world has ever seen.

The film has the King about to return to the stage in his heroic Las Vegas comeback show, but he gets a death threat on opening night! Alone in his hotel room, Elvis flashes back to his past, now a million miles away.
Directed by Dario Argento

Starring

Adriano Celentano, Enzo Cerusico, Marilu Tolo, Luisa De Santis, Glauco Onorato, Carla Tato, Sergio Graziani, Germano Altomanni, Salvatore Baccaro, Loredana Martinez, Guglielmo Bardella

This super rare film is Dario Argento’s only deviation from the giallo genre. Argento wanted to do something different after completing his Animal trilogy so he made this period piece that takes place during the Italian Revolution of 1848.

The production shares many traits with Sergio Leone’s A Fistful of Dynamite and Argento’s work on the excellent Once Upon a Time in the West played a big part in the making this movie. It is a very unique film and a must have for all Argento fanatics.

Directed by David Lynch

Performance Filmed at

THE BROOKLYN ACADEMY OF MUSIC OPERA HOUSE

In 1989, the Brooklyn Academy of Music approached David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti to create a special performance to open their New Wave Music Festival.

Taking the title from a collection of his works produced while he was at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Lynch and Badalamenti worked Julee Cruise's music together with various imagery to produce a unique concert performance.

To open the piece, Lynch shot a new film sequence of a phone conversation between a guy and girl breaking up, featuring Nicolas Cage and Laura Dern with whom he was currently shooting Wild At Heart. From there, the dreamself of the heartbroken woman (Julee Cruise) floats through the air over an industrial wasteland singing ballads of love.

THE RAINBOW THIEF (DVD)

Three legendary actors (Peter O'Toole, Omar Sharif, and Christopher Lee) share the spotlight in this rare weird comedy directed by one and only, Alexandro Jodorowsky.

A shabby thief of the streets finds the proverbial pot at the rainbow's end when he meets a reclusive, nutball prince who stands to inherit millions when is uncle dies. The thief figures he'll share his daily bounty with the impoverished heir now...and the princewill remember him later. But the thief forgets the very important reason for why we have rainbows.....which is to chase them!

Although not as strong and violent as the average Jodorowsky film, The Rainbow Thief still shares elements of the rest of his work and makes up in weirdness and imaginative situations. Stating through symbolic imagery more than with the plot and the dialogues, Jodorowsky again gets through to your subconcious and in the end we can all understand his message.

The Future. The Canadian Academy for Erotic Inquiry is investigating the theories of parapsychologist Luther Stringfellow. Seven young adults submit to a form of brain surgery which removes their power of speech and increases their potential for telepathic communication.

An unseen group of students observes the results and as the experiment progresses further, Stringfellow's theories are borne out.

Later, aphrodisiacs and various frugs are introduced into the subjects' diet in order to expose an inherent 'polymorphous perversity'. Finally, the subject are isolated from each other with provokes a couple of suicides.

This first film of David Cronenberg was made when he was twenty-six and shot on the campus of the University of Toronto. Although created in a documentary style, the film shows birth of some of his cold, clinical and dark style trademarks.
