The two plan on going back to the plant for a rescue mission, but little do they know that chaos will erupt with the awakening of the Alien from the Deep which has the whole compound in disarray.<br /> <br /> This was Antonio Margheriti's last incursion to the sci-fi genre and last collaboration with long time producer Gianfranco Couyoumdjian. Covered in the dust, the hippies run around vomiting blood.<br /> <br /> Meanwhile the drunken crop duster gets out of his plane covered in the dust and pretty soon his wife falls victim to the chemical as well. Blood is the only thing that can quench the thirst of the infected victims, and its not long before the hippies and other toxic zombies spread the disease to more and more.<br /> <br /> This rare cult classic was made just after Dawn of the Dead and filmed outside Pittsburgh, the zombie capital of the world. The danger of the mutant deformities and creatures increase the deeper they get towards their objective of the main laboratory.<br /> <br /> While managing to evade the monstrous onslaught, surviving team members discover a young girl sole survivor they eventually coax into guiding them to the lab.
