Hi, everyone!
I'm shhflights on Flickr, don't regularly go to Utata but I figured I would help out the new group so GustavoG doesn't feel too alone here.

I noticed after I set the icon that Utata appeared twice on my groups page - once in the 'groups I am a member of' column and once in the 'popular groups' column. The first showed the new icon, whilst the second continued to show the generic icon.

It's had an icon for a couple of days. Perhaps you need to "clear your cache"? LOL. :)

Yes, the group is really a placeholder, and to provide a familiar base for any Utatan's who wander over from Flickr. You're welcome to hold discussions in here, but to be honest, I expect it's going to be pretty quiet - for a while at least - I'm certainly not trying to steal conversations from the other currently popular group here. All the regular Utata discussion topics such as Sunday Salons and projects will remain on Flickr for the forseeable future.

I would, however, like to encourage people to post photos to the pool and start building that up. We might be able to do something interesting with that in the future. I may also provide support for 23 in the tagging projects. That's one to think about in the new year.

Ooo, it's growing! Any day now, we'll have Greg posting Sunday Salons here as well as Flickr ;)

.. mind you, I'd hate to see discussions spattering out because they're being held in two different forums. It's a shame we can't set something up like the livejournal/dreamwidth option to have dreamwidth posts automatically show up on lj.
