So, what's your main rig?
Time to update my main rig. Now I'm sporting a brand new D90, almost always fitted with a used Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8. That lense is unbelievable. The D90 I'm trying to get used to. So far I like it.

So, what's your main rig?

So, what's your main rig?

So, what's your main rig?
so we're into camera porn here? well, let's see if I can contribute.. ;)
prefer to use my old but beloved Nikon F5 SLR with a 50mm f/1,4 prime.
Have another old and analogue F 90, which is cool and for the more "subtile" situations.
And for the very rough ones I stick to my Pentacon Six old GDR-made medium format whith a nice 80mm lense. So, that's it.
Anybody else here not using digital?

My favorites are:
Nikon AF-S VR 105mm 2.8G IF-ED
and Sigma 28-70/F2,8 EX DG Asp. IF

So, what's your main rig?
Nikon D50, nowadays mostly with a 50mm/1.8. I also have a Sigma 17-70mm which is used regularly, and a Sigma 70-300mm which I use less and less.

Wishlist: 18-200 VR, and an 18-135mm.

So, what's your main rig?
I shoot mostly:

Nikon D80 w/ Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 prime, though my fave second is a 28mm prime. For travel photography I have the awesome 18-200mm VR zoom. I've got an SB-600 flash for portrait work.

I also have a more compact Coolpix 5000 which makes lovely macro shots, though my D80 with a Nikkor 105mm macro lens is so beautiful and sharp that I hardly use it anymore.

I've got an album of lenses on my wishlist, some with mini-reviews: http://www.23hq.com/clvrmnky/album/1648972

Welcome to the Nikon photogroup
This photogroup is for all things Nikon: compacts, DSLRs, scans and Nikkor glass.

The intent is to be less specific that the Nikon D50 photogroup (I've got a D80) and also include all those excellent CoolPix photos that are out there.

I'm especially interesting in seeing if anyone has a Nikon scanner they are using to make photos, or have scanned their older F1 photos in somehow.

I'm not sure how many Nikonians there are out there, but I figure this is the best way to find out.
