To the right the brown frothing Schussen went down to the lake but in this calm flodding at it's side was a great breeding ground for mosquitos. At least for flycatcher and warbler a great season, but as a human I felt a bit less amused and made a beeline for dryer ground. / Ein viel weiterer Winkel aber naeher an der grossen Pfuetze. Rechst von Bild jagte die Schussen braun aufgewuehlt und recht schnell richtung Bodensee vorbei , aber diese ruhige Ueberflutung an der Seite war perfekt fuer Moskitonlarven. Immerhin, ein grossartiges Jahr fuer Schnaepper und Grassmuecken, aber so als Mensch war ich nicht wirklich erfreut und machte dass ich wieder weg auf trockenere Wege kam.</p><p>Photo by <a was below water level. / Erschreckend breit, der ganze kurze Kiesstrand, bzw. der Kajakaustieg nordwestlich der Panzerbruecke hart am Pfeiler war unter Wasser.</p><p>Photo by <a class="23-standard"/></a></p><p>Flodded Ditch / Ueberfluteter Graben</p> <p style="margin-bottom: 0px;">There was no path along the western banks of the Schussen as most of it looked like it was part of the river taking the detour via the deadwaters, enough to get the ditch bridge deep below surface level, turing the parh into the deadwaters own little deadwater. / Da war kein Weg mehr westlich an der Schussen entlang, nachdem der Fluss sich durch das Altwasser und seinen Ausflussgraben ausgebeitet, das Bluecklein gefluten und alles aufgefuellt hatte, als Altwasser des Altwassers, carefully, there where really a lot hiding all over. / Die meissten auf der Kroetenorgie waren eher zurueckhaltend und blieben in deckung, aber wer genau schaut, bemerkt die
