Now that we have the gold medal, there is sunshine and a little peace in Vancouver. At least here on the beach - which is the only place where I could find any peace and quiet away from all of the celebrations. It's a bit like rutting season - one Moose will let out a big yell and another one will yell back from a mile away. Here on the beach, all you can hear is sirens and car-horns.

I was up early to capture the sunrise but the weather wasn't cooperating. I wanted to capture these beams of light breaking through the clouds (called Cloud Breaks, Crepuscular Rays or God Rays) but was having trouble with the exposure. Of my experiments, this is the thirteenth of thirteen.
