009. Colourless.

This was from some experiments. I kind of like this one. It's unprocessed, and looks pretty good when the contrast is adjusted.

030. Bold.

The people who really wanted to pick up spots took chances.

Here one brave competitor has bypassed the logjam up the steps and
is demonstrating the flying-mount technique. Definitely very bold.

Sadly, the Coast Guard station is no more.

Given the threat of oil spills (one massive one in the '70s) this seems almost criminal.

071. Lock.

Rolf Steinort at 'meetthegimp.org' was doing a series on Access Control.

This is part of a series that I did, which I thought he might enjoy.

I have another version without the clipping, but I like this one better.

083. Release.

After we release the turbulence and air-sickness will [mostly] go away.

Of course, that's when the fun really starts, as the plane is piloted [and powered] entirely by wits after that.

That plane up there is dragging us to release altitude ...

As you can see from the Altimeter, we are up around 1,000 meters.

When you spend your life chained to a desk, getting out of the office during the day becomes very important.

After a miserable summer, we had one or two amazing days at the end of September, this is from one of them.

Massive furball in the woods yesterday, which turned out to be 5 black squirrels and this grey guy.

Plenty shy, this was the only good picture I got. Slight greenish cast from the forest light.
