I don't understand your optimism., Ben-Gurion declared. Why should the Arabs make peace? If I was an Arab leader I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country. Ben Gurion was stupid enough to think that the Palestinains would forget their country in one or two generations - they will NEVER FORGET and will continue to fight APARTHEID until Israel goes the way of South Africa.
