One of four windmills that run alongside the canals surrounding Bruges. I don't know if they're still functioning, but they're lovely examples that seem quite unique in style to Belgium.

This is a great example of the houses in the city's centre. Stepped gables and tobacco coloured stonework are consistently used throughout the old town to great effect.

Climbed this sucker for a great view across the city. I think there's something like 370 steps so the fries & beer took their toll. Worth noting that the Belfry featured in the final scenes of the film "In Bruges", which is a good film and well worth checking out.

This is a door knob of the more fanciful variety. Little details like this give a city a certain charm. In London this would have been long knocked-off and sold at a car boot sale in Walthamstow.
