It's possible to do the trail as a two-day hike with an overnight stay at the Gîte de la Caverne Dufour and to do the summit in the very early morning hours. We started at 03:00 AM at the Gîte to be on time at the summit for the sunrise. Together with some other people we were on the summit to wait for the sunrise.
