A place to rest

This is Grobbach (a small "river") which leads to the Geroldsauer Waterfall near Baden-Baden in the Black Forest, Germany. In spring you can find all kind of Rhododendron along the Grobbach and especially on the waterfall.

Out in the woods

I was hiking with my mum and we passed this small trail during our hike, I couldn't resist and had to shot this photo.

I have taken the shot somewhere near Mühlenbach, Black Forest in Germany.

Graustock (2662m) near Engstlenalp, Switzerland

You can see Graustock peak in the middle of the photo. On the very left this is the peak of Rotsandnollen. Graustock is a member of the Urner Alps.
I hope that you will enjoy this view as much as I did when I was hiking there last summer. Rest a moment, enjoy the view and dream on. :-)

Geroldsau Waterfall, near Baden-Baden, Germany

The second time that I went to this beautiful waterfall. This time the flowers bloomed all around the waterfall.
If you ever visit this small waterfall then you have to go during May, then you will have all the beauty of this place....enjoy.

Catch me if you can

This little red squirell was fast as it ran up the tree. There were only few moments when it stopped and looked at me like it would say: "Catch me if you can". I caught it and I think it looks absolutely amazing.

On the way to the summit of Belchen

I past this beautiful way up to the summit of Belchen in the Black Forest, Germany. Belchen is the fourth highest summit of the Black Forest with its 1,414 metres.

I liked the atmosphere of this short section, just before the summit.

Beauty of the mountain

This beauty was just standing beside the trail downwards of Gaislachkogl (Sölden, Austria) and I couldn't resist, I had to make this shot. It took some seconds before he/she left the trail and you can't see it but he/she was really tall.

This will be the first shot of a small series about Austria's mountains and nature.

Frillensee (next to Eibsee), Garmisch-Partenkirchen

This shot shows the beautiful Frillensee which is next to Eibsee. In the background you can see Waxenstein which is the summit next to Zugspitze. And don't miss the beautiful small ducklings in the foreground.

Geroldsau Waterfall

This is the Geroldsau Waterfall which is located near Baden-Baden (Baden-Württemberg/Germany). I just live one hour away from this place but I have never been there before in my life. The waterfall and the surrounding area is just amazing.

Farrenkopf (789m) near Hausach (Black Forest, Germany)

I have shot this photo during our last hike in the Black Forest. It was a perfect weather at this winter day and you had a great view over the surrounded valleys. This small hut is an alpine hut for hikers on their way on the Westweg, one of the best long distance hiking trail in Germany. The name of the hut is Hasemannhütte.
