my little penlight courtesy of kool and see these. decide to take a pic of each of the three toilets in their particular state of disrepair. 1 and two are fine. at this one my camera jams. just stops working. look at it with the light and it seems fine. but it wont take the picture. then i hear it. between all the other noises in these buildings (and there's a lot - mostly water dripping in various rhythms and loudnesses from the ceilings) i hear this tiny little sound from around where the flush lever should be. just a little hum or moan. again and again. was busy fiddling with the camera, so at first i didnt pay it much mind, just filing it away. then all of the sudden it was all i could hear. and i couldnt figure out why, or where it was coming from. im not someone who gets spooked too easily, but suddenly i felt a chill at my neck which expanded through my entire body. and not an ordinary chill, but a high-pitched scream of a chill, with the vibration of a dentist's drill. couldn't will it to stop, so i forced the camera into full manual mode and took the shot and walked quickly out, as quickly as i could in the pitch dark and took the next shot of the broken urinals over my shoulder.
took about twenty minutes for that feeling to wear off, and at different times there it came back a bit.
