All India Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha from Punjab and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh Advocate, Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal strongly condemned a clash between two groups inside the Golden Temple premises in Amritsar. He said nobody would be allowed to disturb hard earned atmosphere of peace and harmony in the state. Talking with the media persons at Bahadurgarh today evening after BJP Kisan Morcha National Executive meeting he said that Incidents that happened at Amritsar on the occasion of 30th anniversary of operation Bluestar, had deeply pained him and the people of Punjab and also members of the community throughout the world. Grewal said that the violence at Golden Temple in Amritsar and urged the state government and SGPC to take strict action against the culprits. He said that such incidents of violence is like lowering the dignity of the Golden Temple that is known as the place of high reverence for all regions especially the Punjabis across the world. Grewal appealed to the Government of Punjab to take strict action against those involved in the violence so that nobody could use such places in future to take political mileage out of it. National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha from Punjab and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh Advocate, Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav statements strengthen the spirit of rapists, the gangrape and the murder of two Dalit sisters in Badaun is a result of their statements. In a press statement here today Grewal said the statements by Mulayam Singh Yadav and his son Akhilesh Yadav only strengthen the spirit of rapists. He said that a day after a journalist asked Akhilesh about the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh to which he had said, I hope you have not faced any danger. Grewal said that the journalist’s question was in the backdrop of the Badaun case and another gangrape incident in Azamgarh, the constituency of the SP chief. He said that people know that Mulayam Singh Yadav had last month raked up a huge controversy on rape cases when he had publicly said, “Ladke, ladke hain, galti ho jati hai (Boys are boys, they make such mistakes). That doesn’t mean that you award them capital punishment.” In the light of such remarks, the BJP leader apprehendedthat the Uttar Pradesh Government might not punish the accused in the Badaun case which might lead to repetition of such incidents. He said that we have fulfilled the commitments made to the people be it making the State power surplus, introducing novel welfare schemes including the 'aata -daal' scheme, making government- citizen interface easier through governance reforms and introduction of 'sannjh' and 'suvidha' centres and even attracting investment by introducing unique incentives. Grewal said that the Government was committed to delivering on major fronts once a NDA government was formed at the centre. "Badal Sahab has a unique relationship with Mr Narendra Modi and has already discussed a number of issues with the NDA prime ministerial candidate". He said this included constructing houses for the houseless in both rural and urban areas, offering a remunerative minimum support price, MSP to the farmers and ensuring them full crop insurance besides working for an industrial package for the State. Grewal said that we hope to deliver on all these issues once Shri Narendra Modi is sworn in as the next prime minister of our country. After BJYM meeting, in a press statement here today Grewal said that the politics of the Congress leader reflects his "feudal mindset" as he has been caught "lying with a straight face" on the property tax and Jagdish Tytler issue. Grewal also charged that Capt Amrinder Singh lives in a "world of sycophants". He said that " the politics of Congress party's candidate from Amritsar Lok Sabha Amarinder Singh only reflects his feudal instincts.
